Rev. Timothy Biel, Jr. (President) is the pastor of Central UMC in Skokie. He previously served at Homewood: St. Andrew (2014-2018); Evergreen Park: First UMC (2008-2014); and Cary UMC (2003-2008). He specializes in Spiritual Formation and Congregation Development. Tim has a heart for all those seeking peace and divine grace in this life.
Lillye Hart (Treasurer) is a member of Wesley UMC in Chicago where she is a servant leader on several committees and serves as the church Treasurer. One of her passions is the healthy development of children during their early years and spiritual guidance and growth that instills foundational values for a brighter future.
Gaye Lynn Loufek is the Director of Youth Ministries at Grace United Methodist Church in Naperville and her philosophy is “Nothing you do for a child is ever wasted”. A registered nurse as a first career, Gaye Lynn has a strong passion for the well-being of all children in all areas of their lives.
Rev. Esther Lee is the pastor of North Shore UMC in Glencoe, IL since July 2023. She has previously served at Deerfield: Christ UMC (2020-2023); UMC of Geneva (2015-2020); South Suburban Korean UMC (2013-2015); and Tampico and First Harmon UMC (2010-2013). Pastor Esther is passionate about the work of advocacy, care, and support of children, youth and migrants, and has served on the Board of Justice For Our Neighbors of the Northern Illinois Conference before joining the board of United Voices for Children.
Rosemary Taylor, Ph.D. is a member of Transformation Community United Methodist Church in Harvey IL. She is also an active member of her local unit of United Women In Faith. In addition, she is a licensed Clinical Psychologist working in private practice in the western suburbs of Chicago.
Lois Voss has attended Cary United Methodist Church since 1968. She has served in many ways but always stays involved with choir and handbells, the memorial garden, and every aspect of United Women in Faith. She is currently the UWFaith NIC secretary, after serving as United Methodist Women Elgin district president.
Nik Rana (Communications Coordinator) is the Communications Manager and Digital Media Specialist for Urban Village Church. He also serves as a Lead for Communications and Marketing and works with GivingTuesday. He has a background in online ministry, Social Media platforms, nonprofit work, business communications and marketing, and global operations. Advocating for children, youth and families in marginalized communities through grace and faith is crucial to him.
