Kids Above All

Kids Above All (formerly ChildServ) was founded in 1894 by Lucy Rider Meyer, a physician, educator, song writer and biblical scholar. Since that time, Kids Above All has grown from an orphanage in Lake Bluff into a Methodist-affiliated child serving agency building better lives for 3,012 children and families who have experienced abuse, neglect, and homelessness in Cook, DuPage, Kane and Lake counties. Services and programs focus on three important areas that impact kids:

  • Early Childhood Education
  • Safe, Supportive Housing
  • Trauma-Informed counseling
